River screens take a beating. Between constant vibration, water exposure, and the stress of regular operation, the frame can start to flex, shift, and weaken in spots that are easy to miss until something actually fails. That's exactly where this job started.

We brought this screen in, straightened the frame, and then built it back stronger than it was. Fish plates and gussets were added to the frame rails to reinforce the structure at the points that take the most stress. A strap was also welded over the pipe to tie things together and keep movement where it belongs. None of this is cosmetic - every piece of steel we added has a job to do.

That's the difference between patching something and actually fixing it. A lot of equipment gets a quick weld and sent back out. We'd rather take the time to understand where the weakness is and address it in a way that holds up long-term. This screen is going back to work ready to handle whatever gets thrown at it.

This kind of work is what our mobile welding and heavy equipment repair services are built around. Not just putting a bead on something and calling it done, but thinking through what the equipment actually needs to stay in service without coming back for the same repair six months later. Clean welds, solid reinforcement, and equipment that's ready to hold up when it matters.
